Um, no, he doesn’t. Bush 43 had to deal with worse, especially by the media, and for longer. Lincoln had to deal with a nation ripped apart by slavery.
Obama is reaping what he has sown, by pursuing the policies he supposedly believes in. Well, if you believe in something, you have to deal with criticisms, too. So eat your peas, you self-glorifying jackass.
Yes Bush had to deal with the Media for longer at this point, but worse? I am not saying Obama has it worse, but it is very hard to qualify. Yes there are a greater number of “news” sources and talk shows with a liberal leaning, however, none of them have even close to the immense power that Fox “News” has. Fox has most of the top watched daytime talk programs, and there is no way someone in their right mind could actually say that Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity and the rest of the midday Fox crew are actually unbiased.
So there might have been more voices talking out against Bush, but there is no way there was a significantly larger (if larger at all) audience watching the Liberal programs during the Bush Era. I also have not seen a President being compared to Hitler as much as Obama has…or on such a wide scale. Bush also wasn’t called a Socialist…
And he definitely does not have it harder in general than Abe…but I don’t think there was as large of a Media Presence in the middle 1800s.
The cable news shows have a much smaller audience than the network news shows. ABC/CBS/NBC national nightly news shows were/are all left of center with a decided anti-GWBush bias.
“I also have not seen a President being compared to Hitler as much as Obama…”
You have to be fornicating kidding about this. Eight bloody years of “Chimpy McBushHitler” protest signs. Go look up Zombie’s protest photos.
While you are at it, check how many congressional democrats are also part of the DSA caucus.
