It is always good to know who your enemies are and what those who profess to be on your team think of you:
Obama Calls ObamaCare Dissenters “Teabag, Anti-Government People, Extremists”
November, 9, 2009 — nicedeb
In case you were wondering what Obama told the Democrats, Saturday morning, during his pep talk before the vote, The New York Times has the goods:
According to Representative Earl Blumenauer of Oregon, who supports the health care bill, the president asked,
“Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit” Democratic voters “and it will encourage the extremists.”
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 44% of U.S. voters are at least somewhat in favor of the reform effort while 53% are at least somewhat oppose. So it appears I am not the only one who is an extremist. Putting aside the issue of the infantile demeanor exhibited by the CIC I actually think this is a great story for those of us who have, from almost the first time this enemy of America burst on the scene, been banging the drums of doom about his “extremism”.
It is quite refreshing actually to have your perceptions and deductions confirmed by the man himself for in this little blurb scooped by the Obama Times, which in a very ironic way, just by appearing in Obama’s Pravda, lends the ultimate gravitas to anything that they actually report that diminishes the perpetual halo of godliness that we all know envelopes his being, we see the true essence of the man, much in the way we did with his initial and continuing disconnected response to the Fort Hood terrorist attack.
He sees us, the American people standing for liberty, freedom and the rights of the individual, as the enemy. He sees us as an impediment to his grand designs and machinations. And he seems to have no compunction expressing his disdain. Which again I think is a good thing because in the coming days, months and years as his power ebbs and wanes, as the lines of battle are more clearly drawn and the divides, which most assuredly are evident in the cracked and crazed landscape that is our America, become wider and even more pronounced it is best to know who your enemy is and where the traitors amongst us hiding.
1600 Pennsyvania avenue seems to currently be their nexus.

White House Spent 'Weeks' Courting Lone GOP Vote on Health Care Bill
I suspect we’ll see a lot of forlorn-looking senior citizens looking out windows in campaign ads next year. — Jim Geraghty
Asking and press him (I say this as a guy who is a liberal democrat and fought for him and the public option)
Why does he and the other dems blame the republicans (remember liberal democrat here) for cowtowing to the healthcare lobby… and it is clear the democrats are trying to belittle tort reform, trial reward redundancy and abuse based on pain and suffering rewards… and their effect down the chain of a healthcare system where doctors are pressured daily to just make the patient happy by shortening visits, prescribing anything to make them walk away and not complain or threaten…and cowtowing to patients because they saw a commercial on tv or a 20/20 special on a 10,000 test for a kid who has a cold or short of breath.
If he says it is not proven that defensive medicine is a factor…tell him do we need proof or shouldn’t overwhelming common sense based on logic play a part here…and get the dems to openly stand up to the legal lobby (and I am a dem and I am disgusted by the hypocrisy in the legislation of this bill for spending so much money and protec the legal lobby)
If Pres Obama really wants healthcare reform at leveled out level with all these ideas…why not incorporate the idea that the republicans have claimed for ages…correctly for once. Tort reform and removing defensive medicine pressures from these medical conglomerates who put the presure on their docs to overprescribe, limit contact and throw services at patients just to not lose their jobs due to threat of malpractice lawsuits and insurance hikes to the hospitals and conglomerates.

Relative to Fox News: Wouldn’t it be more in keeping with your philosphy to actively engage them? I might actually tune in to Fox for an exclusive Obama interview with Glen Beck! What an interesting juxtaposition of reason and insanity that would be!
PLEEEZE, Mr President? PLEEEZE?
— From Questions ABC News’ Jack Tapper is collecting to ask Barack Hussein ObamaIf the “government option” health plan is the desired goal for all americans when will the health plans enjoyed by the executive and legislative branches be switched over to the same plan that americans are going to be “offered”? Will you place you and your family into said plan and when? — From Questions ABC News’ Jack Tapper is collecting to ask Barack Hussein Obama
By any measure, unemployment is high. It’s now 2.6 percent higher (a 34 percent increase) than when Obama took office and more than twice the number it was during much of the Bush administration. But Obama is spending his time and his political capital on health care reform. Despite his claims about HCR helping the economy, ordinary people are out of work by the millions. Aren’t his priorities all out of whack? — From Questions ABC News’ Jack Tapper is collecting to ask Barack Hussein Obama
When George W. Bush inserted himself into military plans in Iraq, liberal detractors called him the disparaging term “chicken hawk” because he was dictating military policy without any military experience. Isn’t Obama doing the exact same thing in Afghanistan? — From Questions ABC News’ Jack Tapper is collecting to ask Barack Hussein Obama
